EMPOWERING our fUTURE

Our aim is to bring together racially, socioeconomically, and politically diverse youths to rethink and rebuild civil society by promoting critical thinking skills and skills for engaging with perspectives and life experiences different than one’s own. Participants (called Civic Fellows) from countrywide experience lively interaction in each session — each month’s theme aims to provide foundational knowledge from across the ideological spectrum, to foster critical thinking and dialogue. One Monday a month, the Civic Fellows come together using Zoom to learn about and discuss issues like Voting Rights and Engagement; Criminal Justice; The Constitution, The Role of Elected Leaders etc.
